Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Soraypampa
Pass By: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru
The group is picked up at different hotels to begin a 4 hours bus ride into the Sacred Valley. In Mollepata, where the tour starts, we will subdue horses for our expedition to the Mighty Salkantay (they will be carrying our camping equipments). Afterwards we will be ascending the mountain of Saillapata for lunch. Later we set our campsite in Soraypampa (at around 5:00pm).

Day 2: Soraypampa - Chaullay
Pass By: Winay Wayna, Machu Picchu Peru
Early in the morning we begin a 3 hours trek up to the highest point of the entire expedition, The Salkantay Pass (4.600 m). From there, we reach Wayracpunku for a delicious picnic. The journey will then continue into the high jungle and its beautiful nature. This trek is 5 hours until our campsite in Chaullay.

Day 3: Chaullay - Santa Teresa
Pass By: Intipuncu, Machu Picchu Peru
After breakfast we will be going to Lucmabamba and walk towards the ruins of Llaqtapata (an ancient watchpoint for the Machu Picchu and its surrounding mountains). Later we will have lunch at this amazing location and have access to lodging on the site (with hot water and accommodations). You will have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the breathtaking view over the Machu Picchu and explore the ranch.

Day 4: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes
Pass By: Urubamba River, Sepahua Peru
The next morning we go down to Ahobamba river where our bus awaits us. Those who reserved in advance and wants additional adrenaline can sign up for Ziplining or go into the famous hot springs of Cocalmayo (30$/each). The rest of the group will be meeting near Hidroelectrica. After relaxing in the hammocks, we continue along train tracks leading directly through the great jungle of Aguas Calientes. At night we join together in a local restaurant for diner and have a briefing about our next day.

Day 5: Inca Trail – (Sun's Gate) – Aguas Calientes
Pass By: Salkantay Trail, Peru
Early in the morning (6:00am) the guide brings you to Chachabamba. Passing over a refreshing waterfall we get to the ruins of WinayWayna. After lunch we continue towards Inti Punku (Puerta del Sol) to enter a majestful scenery of the entire Machu Picchu village. We will be taken the bus back to Aguas Calientesfor the night

Day 6: Machu Picchu - Cusco
Pass By: Banos Termales de Cocalmayo, 4 Km from Santa Teresa, Santa Teresa Peru
We get ready at 4:00am to climb to Machu Picchu just in time to see the spectacular sunrise (additional bus tickets can be organized)! The group will then follow the guide in the Inca citadel for a 2 hours tour. Later, passengers that reserved in time will be visiting Huayna Picchu (usually 1 month is mandatory) and the others the Old Mountain on the opposite side. At the end of the day (18h20) you catch your train to Cusco and transfert at Ollantaytambo for a bus ride.

Day 7: End of The Tour
