Moray & Maras Salt Mines

We will start our excursion to the most remote sites of the Sacred Valley in Moray, where you'll see amazing views of the ancient Inca ruins' colossal concentric terraces, simulating a huge amphitheater. Its purpose was to recreate 20 different types of microclimates, guaranteeing the agricultural production of the empire. Later, we will go to Maras, the famous and millenary salt mines from colonial times. The contrast of the white walls and the green valley makes for a spectacular snapshot of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After lunch in a local restaurant, we will return to Cusco.
