Moray & the Salt Mines Biking Tour

We begin this great adventure with a bus trip to the starting point at Chinchero plateau (high plains3600 masl), in the Andean community of Cheqereq. From there we start riding for about one hour by an undulating dirt road to the amazing and interesting agro-experimental Inka center of Moray. The second part of the route is mostly flat and downhill, with one steep and fairly technical downhill followed by a very short uphill. Those who would prefer to ride in the support vehicle are free to do so. After riding for about 45 minutes we reach the village of Maras, where we will rejoin our support vehicle on the town plaza for a picnic lunch with scenic views of the Vilcanota mountain range. After a short relaxing time we will start a 45 minutes of exhilarating and epic downhill ride by mule track to Las Salineras (pre-Inka Maras Salt Mines; There we finish the tour and return to Cusco arriving aprox. At 17:00 pm
