Stop At: Cordillera del Arcoiris Palccoyo, 08235, Peru

After picking you up at your hotel in Cusco we will start driving to the colorful Palcoyo Rainbow Mountains. The drive takes around 3 hours until we reach the starting point of the hike. During the drive you can observe wild Alpacas and Llamas in the very picturesque Andean landscape and local mountain people working in their farms. Once we arrive to the starting point, we will start hiking. The hike takes around 30 minutes to the Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain, is not long and does not ascend much, so this hike can be done by most people. While you will be hiking you will realize that this landscape around the Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain is unique; there are red mountain around you, there is an amazing stone forest on the top of a surrounding mountain that you also have the opportunity to visit and once you reach the last viewpoint you will realize that there is not only one Rainbow Mountain, but several of them all around you. This landscape gives you views that you never have seen before and never will forget. The Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain is located around 4800 meters above sea level. At the end of the tour we will have a little pick nick and enjoy a box lunch. On the way back to Cusco we will drop you off at your hotel.
