Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Full Day

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel around 4:00am and drive for 3 hours to the community of QUESIUNO where will enjoy a healthy breakfast prepare for our chef. Quesiuno is a native community with few inhabitants dedicated mostly to agriculture raising llamas and alpacas, being one of the last ones left in the world dedicated to this activity. Afterwards the trek to rainbow mountain will start with a 3-hour ascent to the painted hills of Rainbow or Vinicunca mountain (16,466 ft. -5,020 mts). This part of the trek offers you amazing views of the isolated communities, traditional houses and breathtaking landscapes of the Ausangate Mountain (6398m/20991ft).

Rainbow Mountain is located in the Southern Region of Cusco. This a remarkable place that will impress even to most demanding hikers not only because of the altitude but also the amazing views, interactions with local, beautiful lakes and far most important being away from modern civilization. !Rainbow mountain is considered one of the most beautiful one day hikes in the world¡. Upon reaching the summit and exploring you will immerse yourself into the Red Valley for 3 hours as you descent for lunch to later take our bus back to Cusco arriving to your hotel around 6 pm.
