About this activity
This morning, we will leave toward the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas and we will have an interesting seminar and demonstration of textiles in a local community, where we will appreciate the major steps of this traditional activity. We will know, and if possible, we will collect the plants tintóreas and continue with the trasquile and spinning of alpaca wool or sheep. Finally we will exercise the final fabric respecting the local iconography. The inhabitants of the community will be our local guides, happy to make us discover its cultural richness and its traditions surrounded by marvelous landscapes. We will taste a delicious traditional lunch prepared by the own premises. After this unforgettable experience, we will continue toward the traditional market of Pisac, where we will offer its picturesque sellers in the middle of a colorful atmosphere given by the ingredients characteristic of the area and the friendly crafts. Finally, we visit the popular workshop of the recognized plastic artist Paul Seminar.
