Light Tackle: Glover’s Reef Fishing Overnight

Some of the best fishing (and snorkelling) in the world lies at the edge of Belize Barrier Reef at hidden gems like Glovers Reef Atoll. Troll for Wahoo, Marlin, and Tuna on your way out, then take the express route across turquoise waters to some of the purest (and plentiful) waters in the outlying Cayes. After fishing, your crew will prepare the day's catch right before your eyes. Sip a cocktail from a coconut cut via machete from a nearby tree. Then, retire to a thatched hut extended over the water. The 'Light Tackle' is our 23 ft Belizean skiff that features 90hp Yamaha outboards, pop-up canopies, and centuries of tradition. These stalwarts accommodate 2-3 guests (+crew) and provide nimble solutions for hard-to-reach flats as well as Outer Reef.
