There’s now a floating platform that means you can get really close to the Dubai Fountains.

We love the Dubai Fountains, but they’re so popular that getting a good spot to watch them from can be tricky: the good news is that you can now get even closer to them, and for only Dhs20.

The Dubai Fountain Boardwalk has just opened: the floating viewing platform means you can walk onto the lake and see the fountains from up close.

The floating platform is a 272-metre-long boardwalk, and from it, you can get only nine metres away from the fountains (and considering the water show reaches heights of 152 metres, that’s mighty close).
