Emirati Arts & Cultural Tour

Yes, Dubai is all of that, but not only. This tour is dedicated to the local traditions and Emirati arts that can be found in Dubai, away from the luxury life and the expensive hotels. After all, before cars and glass hotels began popping up around town, Dubai was just a simple fishing village on the Dubai Creek, with its craft, art and costums.

The tour will start from Bastakyia, the oldest district of Dubai where it is possible to find the largest concentration of traditional courtyard houses in Dubai. You will have the opportunity to discover the Emirati arts and culture visiting some interesting places like the Majlis Gallery & XVA Art Gallery Hotel & café’ which have the mission to promote the works of artists of international standing and to become a meeting place of creatives minds. After that you will visit the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and you will participate in the Heritage Tour, a Cultural Program where you will enjoy a walk through the Al Fahidi Historic District, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Dubai which include also a visit inside the Diwan Mosque with Questions & Answers enjoying the taste of coffee and dates. Then moving to the traditional Gold Souk to show you the Women’s Museum, a cultural initiative, unique in the Arab World and the Gulf Region. A place to explorer and celebrate the lives and the achievements of women of the UAE.
