About this activity
Visit: Ireland: A Survivor's Guide, The International Bar, Wicklow St 75m from Grafton St, Dublin Ireland

Experience a guide to Irish history and culture in this one of a kind performance in the heart of Dublin. Meet inside a well preserved traditional Irish pub before being seated inside a unique theatre space upstairs. The pub has a welcoming relaxed atmosphere and a wholesome and filling Irish stew is available for lunch at an exceptional price.
You will then go into the upstairs space for a 50 minute long comedy sketch show presented by some of Dublin's finest physical theatre performers. The show is a guide to Irish culture and customs using fast physical comedy theatre and audience interaction. The sketches include the complete history of Ireland in seven minutes, an interactive guide to hurling, the secrets of the Irish male and a guide to the Irish weather.
The comedy is clean therefore suitable to bring a family to of varying ages with plenty of physical slapstick to entertain younger members and good satirical comedy with historical information to engage teenagers and adults. The physical comedy is easy to understand so the show can be enjoyed by people who are not necessarily fluent in English and can be ideal for learners of English.
