Herzegovina, Medugorje, and Kravice Falls Private Day Trip from Dubrovnik

After pickup from your hotel or other select point in Dubrovnik by your private guide, your day trip starts with the drive north to the Herzegovina region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, enjoying views of the Elafiti Islands along the way.

When you arrive in Međugorje, about 80 miles (130 km) from Dubrovnik, you'll have free time to walk around or go to mass, if you wish. Since 1981, when a group of children claimed they saw an apparition of the Virgin Mary, the town has been a pilgrimage destination for Catholics.

Next, head about 25 minutes to Kravica, or Kravice Falls, an 80-foot-high (25-meter) waterfall where you have free time to walk around, have coffee at the cafe (own expense), or just enjoy the views. Then continue to a small Herzegovina village known for tobacco production. You'll see tobacco fields, take a walk, and then enjoy a light lunch at a family-owned tavern.
