About this activity

This gastro tour takes you off the beaten path to a small village of Majkovi, thirty kilometers from Dubrovnik, where you'll be seated in a quite an extraordinary family-run three hundred year-old renovated olive oil mill.

Once inside, you will be welcomed with plenty of authentic domestic tastes. The main dish is preceded by a variety of homemade appetizers, wines, ham, olives, ricotta with honey, etcetera. Outside, in the backyard, you will see goats and eat goat cheese, making this a great family-friendly experience.

For the main dish, you will have the opportunity to taste a traditional Croatian meal – Peka. Peka is prepared by putting meat and vegetables together on a platter, covering it with an iron bell, and setting a fire around it. Everything is left to slowly cook in its own juices. Throughout the whole evening you will be replete with drinks – homemade liquors and wines, alongside non-alcoholic beverages.

On your way to Majkovi, your driver will make a stop along the way at the Elaphites viewpoint, from which you can see a breathtaking sunset.

In this tour, you are transported by either a car (up to four passengers) or a minivan (up to eight passengers).
