This tour takes you to the Natural History Museum in Metković that has unique collection (opened from 1954) of more than 340 stuffed birds which makes it one of the biggest collections of its kind in Europe. Your second stop will be Archaeological museum Narona in the village of Vid. There, you will see the remains of a Roman temple – the Augusteum – and 17 marble statues, both outsized and in natural height.
After an unforgettable historical treat you will board a traditional Neretva boats called 'trupice' that have been in use for ages for fishing and transportation. Sailing through the Neretva Valley will uncover various hidden beauties of both local fauna and flora. Your final destination is a very attractive location next to the river bank where you will have lunch and enjoy local cuisine.
