Day 1 - Fly north from Fairbanks to Alaska's North Slope, Deadhorse, Alaska. Meet your informative, friendly guide who is certain to make the experience a memorable one. Flight is for transportation not sightseeing.
Visit the Prudhoe Bay oil fields and begin the journey by dipping your toe in the frigid waters of the Arctic Ocean. Overnight at Deadhorse Camp located in the service community for the site of North America's largest oil discovery in Prudhoe Bay.
Day 2 - Ground tour south in the personalized comfort of our tour vehicles along the rugged Dalton Highway made famous during construction of the Trans Alaska Pipeline. Explore up close the amazing arctic tundra of the vast Arctic Coastal Plain and feel the veins of ice just beneath the surface.
Continue across the Arctic Coastal Plain before climbing through the majestic Brooks Mountain Range and over the Continental Divide at Atigun Pass. Overnight at rustic Coldfoot Camp nestled in the Brooks Mountain Range.
Day 3 - Continue your ground tour making your visit stop at the only, year round lived in community on the Dalton Highway the historic community of Wiseman. Learn of their historical past and present day lifestyle during a walking stroll thru the community.
Experience the mighty Yukon River. Marvel at the majestic beauty of the northland's most famous waterway and learn of the river's storied past. Visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post situated in the rural community of Joy, Alaska and learn about early homesteading in Alaska. Complete your southbound ground tour as you arrive in Fairbanks.

ACCOMMODATION note - important to know both accommodations are indicative of the industrial heritage of the region and are former or active work crew camps Rooms are simple with 2 single beds in the room and shared bathrooms down the hall.
MEALS are not included but guests have a chance to bring their own snacks or know they can purchase both snacks and meals along the way.
