Mellah is the jewish neighborhood of Fez. It is also the oldest jewish neighborhood of the Morocco. There, we will visit the synagogue and the jewish cimetery.

The gardens of Jnan Sbil were the Royal gardens. These gardens are today the ideal place to have a walk away from the hustle and bustle of the Fez medina.

The gates of the Royal Palace is an impressive monument because of its size, architecture and golden doors. It is the main gate to enter in the Royal Palace but no one is allowed to enter in the Palace.

Bab Boujloud is the main gate to enter in the Fez medina. It is also one of the main neighborhood of the Fez medina. It is a great place to make some shopping.

The Medersa Bou Inania is a Koranic school in the heart of Fez medina.The Medersa is a beautiful monument in a traditional architecture style.

The Nejjarine square is known for its Fondouk. This Fondouk is a great mix of a traditional and andalous architecture.

Moulay Idriss was one of the founder of the Fez medina. His mausoleum is inside the Fez medina but the travelers are not allowed to enter in the mausoleum.

Stop At: Kairaouine Mosque (Mosque of al-Qarawiyyin), Fes el-Bali Qayruwan quarters, Fes 30030 Morocco

Al Qarawiyyin Mosque is also the oldest university in the world still in operation today. Some of the greatest Moroccan intellectuals have studied at this university. Sadly, the travelers are not allowed to enter in the mosque and, consequently, in the university.

The Seffarine square is known as the copper place. There, you will see the workshops and the crafters. It is the ideal place to make some shopping of copper objects.
