Explore the glorious Chianti region in the most memorable way possible: with your tastebuds! This half-day wine tour takes you straight into the heart of one of Italy’s most historic wine-growing regions to experience the landscape and characters behind Tuscany’s famous Chianti Classico.

 

We enter the Chianti just outside Florence along one of Tuscany’s most scenic panoramic routes, where gently rolling hills clad in vineyards, olive groves and medieval villages convey the feeling of having stepped back in time. Along the way we stop at the ancient town of Greve in Chianti to enjoy a coffee and soak up the quaint village atmosphere. Upon arrival at the boutique winery, we meet our host, a genuine Chianti winemaker, who invites us to explore his boutique winery and traditional cellar, describing the production process behind the renowned Chianti Classico.

 

Then it’s time to put your tastebuds to the test, with a wine-tasting session of three different kinds of wine, where you’ll be able to compare and choose your favourite type. We round off the tour in classic Italian style by sitting down with the winery owners to enjoy a delicious Tuscan lunch of local specialties and organic wine: the perfect finale to a gastronomic experience in Chianti.
