About this activity
Our first stop will be at the Cinque Terre village of Manarola, one of the oldest villages in the region. Here you will see stunning views and get awesome pictures of the coastline. You will have a chance to explore the winding alleyways and cute, pastel squares that show the allure of the area, and maybe even taste local wine at a cozy cafe (at your own expense). After Manarola, you will meet your tour guide at a pre-arranged time for the shared boat ride (Weather permissing) to the next village, Vernazza. While on the boat, you will gaze at the interesting coastline from a new perspective. Vernazza is the most beautiful of the five villages in Cinque Terre. With its large open harbor, castle, and church this town has some of the most impressive views along the coast. Here you will have free time to walk around and have lunch (at your own expense) at one of the many delicious local restaurants that line the waterfront or take a stroll through the back streets. After Vernazza, you will meet your tour guide to ride to Corniglia and enjoy even more stunning coastline views and take photos. Please note the boats operate subject to weather conditions and along the Cinque Terre until about the 3rd week of October. When boats are not operative transfer between towns will be by train or by a minivan. Boats do not operate in bad weather conditions and when the sea is rough. On these occasions, transfers between towns are by local coastal train or by a minivan.
