About this activity
Your Uffizi Gallery tour begins as you meet your guide and head to the second floor of the gallery to see some of its best-known works, from the 13th to 17th centuries. Follow a chronological path, from Byzantine and Gothic art in Tuscany to early Renaissance works by Masaccio, Paolo Uccello, Filippo Lippi and Piero della Francesca. Finish with masterpieces from Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. While you admire their beauty and skill, learn about the many secrets and curiosities concealed behind the canvas. More information will be provided for you to visit the first floor of the museum on your own, where paintings from Raphael, Titian and Caravaggio are on display. The explanations given are simple, suitable for families with children, and aim to entertain but also teach the evolution of the art in Italy.
