Larano Mountain and Cliff Full Day Walking Tour

This is a fascinating journey, a rich walk composed of agricultural land and crops from Machico city, complemented with the superb views over São Lourenço península, Porto Santo Island and northeastern coast.

In the past this was the only way to travel from Machico or Caniçal, in the southern and eastern coasts to the village of Porto da Cruz located in the Northeast.

Starting from a lower level of altitude, you will walk up through the more challenging section of this beautiful path, where you'll have to traverse a cliff and mountain section that takes you all the way to the northern part of the island.

This is a full day trip and walk that starts at around 9am until 5pm. It has a walking distance of about 12km and takes approximately 4h30m to complete.
