Beijing Road Ancient Avenue,an important commercial area for many centuries. Look down through the glass in some sections to see stone-paved roads from the Song and Yuan dynasties, and admire old city gates and sections of the wall.
Beijing Road, one of the 10 pedestrian shopping streets. There are ancient pavements built during different dynasties under the modern road to prove the long history around this area. It is wonderful place for shopping as well. (It takes about one hour to visit.)

Not far from the Beijing Road, you can also visit the Big Buddha temple nearby the Beijing Road. Guangzhou Big Buddha Temple was founded in South Han (AD 917-971), the name of the new Tibetan temple. In 1649, the temple was destroyed by fire. The Pingnan King Shangkexi rebuilt the temple, with high cultural and artistic ornamental value.
