Cat Cat cultural village was formed in 19th century by the gathering of some families belonging to some ethnic groups living in mountainous areas of northern Vietnam, especially Black H’Mong .They lived next to each other along the mountain side and cultivated surrounding their home. Rice and corn were grown in terraced fields, while traditional handicrafts such as twisting flax and weaving fabric have been well-kept. Through times, Cat Cat Village has transferred to one appealing feature of Sapa’s tourism.

Day 2: Your full day trek tour to villages

Stop At: Giang Ta Chai Village, Ta Van Commune, Sapa 008420 Vietnam
Lao Chai village Sapa is 6 km far from the center town, you will see Lao Chai village Sapa where the Black H’mong people are living, it is also the beginning of a valley which is called Muong Hoa valley.

From a high point of the main road 8 Km from Sapa town, great view of the whole village opens wide to offer the marvelous panorama of the village, backed by high mountains and facing the river. Here you will enjoy the fresh air, see terrace fields, stream, visit and discover some of the H’mong’s families, three large villages with over 100 families of the Black H’mong ethnic, and people here are quite hospitable.

In this village which you will have a welcome feeling at any house of the hospitable people there. You can interact with them, learn about their culture and customs.

Stop At: Ta Van Village, Sapa 330000 Vietnam
Ta Van village is located in Ta Van commune, Sa Pa district, Lao Cai province. Village at the foot of the mountain, including 110 households with 550 people. Located in the territory of Hoang Lien National Park, Ta Van village is the convergence of the land of heaven. Come here, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the style, lifestyle as well as the cultural characteristics of the Giay people.
