You can choose the option of Morning tour or Afternoon tour as your preferable timing.

Morning tour: from 08:00 – 12:00 (approximately).

Afternoon tour: from 14:00 – 18:00 (approximately).

You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Joining this option, you will be taken a bit further away from the center city of Hanoi. Particularly, if you love to explore Hanoi’s vicinities, the route will surely satisfy you. Not only having a chance to focus on the village, you can also get a great opportunity to discover the crazy traffic of Hanoi as well as to observe the routine of Vietnamese’s daily life in Hanoi.

You can choose one of the following traditional handicraft villages:

(1) Bat Trang Pottery village. This is the traditional porcelain and pottery village with history of seven centuries. You can witness the traditional way of making ceramics as well as observe the daily life of locals here. You can also buy a local pottery as a souvenir or join in an amazing pottery making class to make a product by yourself.

(2) Van Phuc Silk village. Van Phuc silk village is renowned for its traditional weaving and premium quality silk products. You will be impressed by typical manner of an ancient village in the north of Vietnam with banyan tree, well, communal house, and the sound of power-looms everywhere.

(3) Ha Thai Lacquer-ware village. Ha Thai village – Duyen Thai commune - an unique famous trade village located about 25km from Hanoi. On arrival at the village, you'll walk around to see families making lacquer ware and get a first-hand look at how the workers here blow soul in this art lacquer.

(4) Dong Ho Folk Painting village. Dong Ho painting has become a vivid symbol of folk culture in Vietnam and a source of inspiration for poets and musicians of many generations. Coming to Dong Ho printmaking village, you can see very the high and refined quality printing paintings satisfying not only domestic customers but also foreigner tourists as well as observe the daily life of locals here.

(5) Du Du Sculpture village in Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Oai district, Hanoi. This is a trade village that has preserved the essence of the traditional sculpture over many generations. With their skillful hands, the craftsmen in the village have created unique sculptures including products for decoration, furniture and wooden statues. Head to the village you can learn about statue making process from raw material to finished products and find your own favorite items
