Day 1: Sapa – Mong Sen – Ta Phin (-,L,D)

You commence from Sapa by a drive downhill to Mong Sen, where you start trekking uphill on a dirt trail through a mountainous area. En route, you will have many opportunities to enjoy spectacular view over rice paddy terraces and corn fields. You will take a stop for lunch at a nice spot. After lunch, the trek will continue by going downhill toward Ta Phin village where you can meet Red Dao and Black H’mong minorities, two largest ethnic groups in Sapa. Your guide will tell you about the daily life and tradition of these two minority groups. Here you stay tonight in a local house. You will be able to take a walk around the village while your guide prepares dinner.

Approx: Grade 2 of 5/ 30 minutes driving/ 4 hours walking

Day 2: Ta Phin - Ma Tra - Sapa (B,L,-)

Once you have finished breakfast, you will be heading towards Sapa. You will pass through several minority villages along the way. The walk through rice paddy terraces is very interesting. You then stop by Ma Tra village of Black H’mong, where your lunch will be served on the top of a hill. After lunch, you take a walk under the shadow of pine trees of Suoi Ho area as well as a short walk from side to side of the town of Sapa

Approx: Grade 2 of 5/ 4 hours walking

-This is a soft trek and not touristy.
-The tour normally begins and finishes in Sapa (no surcharge)
-If your hotel is located in Lao Cai city, the surcharge for two way car (Lao Cai - Sapa) will be 62 USD.
-If your hotel is located in Topas Ecolodge, the surcharge for one-way car (Topas Ecolodge - Sapa) will be 24 USD.
