About this activity
This tour begins at 08:30. Be driven to the Hanoi Military Museum. Rarely visited by tourists, this museum features an impressive collection of photos and other war remnants such as antique guns. Browse the displays with a local guide, and receive an introduction of Vietnam’s history through the lens of its conflicts. Next up on the military history tour of Hanoi is Hoa Lo prison. This building is dedicated two war in Vietnam. One of the most fascinating displays gives a detailed account of a 12-day attack by American B-52 aircraft in 1972, thus giving the museum its name. Further on, pass Huu Tiep Lake which is home to the twisted remains of an American B-52 bomber, shot down in 1972.

Last stop of the journey is a collection of war remnants, assembled by a Vietnamese veteran with strong ties to this conflict. Let his stories and anecdotes bring the Vietnam war to life, if only for a moment.
