About this activity
Meet at the bottom of Napoopoo Road where you'll see your guides and kayaks behind a yellow gate there. Parking is available a block to the right. You should arrive 15-20 minutes before the launch time to check-in and receive snorkel gear and paddling instruction before embarking on this day's kayak adventure. A certified lifeguard will help you launch your kayak and then you'll paddle an easy 30-40 minutes across the emerald green and cobalt blue waters of Kealakekua Bay. Paddling below 600' high cliffs in stable two person kayaks, look for the resident spinner dolphin pods that come here frequently. Arriving at our destination we enter the calm waters of Ka'awaloa cove to snorkel above coral gardens and with schools of colorful tropical fish on this amazing tour of Kealakekua Bay. Splash in refreshing, crystal clear water and explore the underwater terrain snorkeling for over an hour. Enjoy stepping on British soil as we visit famous Capt. Cook Monument. This unique experience is not permitted for the majority of visitors who come aboard commercial powerboats, After over an hour of snorkeling we'll enjoy drinks and ample snacks while your guide discusses the history of the area and marine life you just experienced.
