About this activity
Following a pick-up from your hotel in hue, we’ll get off the usual tourist trail leading to Tam Giang lagoon. It is one of the largest lagoons in the region where many local families have made their living by the lagoon for centuries.

Take a break for morning tea at a homestay on My Thanh wharf. We’ll hop on our ready bicycle for an exhibition of the traditional fishing tools to learn more about this less explored region of Vietnam.

We’ll dismount your bike for a boat sail across the lagoon to experience the aquaculture activities up close. Try your luck at catching fish with the help of a local fisherman. Loosening yourself, taking a deep breath and taking some pics. These precious, stunning views are not always seen in anywhere.

Back on dry land, cycle around the village, and passing through vegetable farms and stunning paddy fields, enjoying the breezing wind only found in the countryside.

It’s time to refill energy. We’ll have an amazing local lunch in a homestay.

When you’re ready, we continue pedaling to the craft village of Thuy Lap to watch the locals weaving house furniture and decoration. Watch local artisans skillfully weaving bamboo in Bao la village before your return to Hue center. En route, you will stop at the Thu Le temple, the central meeting house of local community.
