About this activity

Who qualifies? Those PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to participate in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. Our instructors determine in which kind of dives you are entitled to participate.

In case you are already a certified adventure diver, you only need to fulfill two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Two dives are compulsory, namely Deep Adventure and Underwater Navigation. The remaining three you choose from a menu in close harmony with your instructor.

During the Deep Adventure Dive, you wil get skilled in how to plan dives to deal in order to cope with physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving.

The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive fine-tunes your compass navigation skills and contributes to better navigate, using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the ambitions you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.
