Itinerary

Day 1: Italy - Istanbul

Pass By: Istanbul New Airport Transfer, Istanbul Turkey
Following our arrival in Istanbul we are met at the airport and transferred to our hotel where we will have our dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Istanbul

Stop At: Hagia Sophia Museum / Church (Ayasofya), Ayasofya Square, Sultanahmet, Istanbul 34122 Turkey
After breakfast we set off on a full day of sightseeing in Istanbul. We will start with a visit to the renewed Sultanahmet Mosque, known popularly as The Blue Mosque an incredibly beautiful mosque known for its blue Iznik (Nicaea) tiles are unique for the fact that it has six minarets. We continue on to the Hippodrome once the vast arena that functioned as the heart of sporting (chariots races and athletics) events and political activities of the old city. From here we go to the nearby Hagia Sophia the Church of Divine Wisdom. Ranking as one of the greatest marvels of world architecture, this awe-inspiring building was constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Byzantine Emperor Justinian. After lunch our next visit will be Topkapi Palace which for more than 400 years was the imperial residence of the Ottoman Sultans; now home to the priceless collections porcelain, jewelry, calligraphy and many masterpieces of art. The tour will end with the visit to the Grand Bazaar, the vast and legendary covered market that is the biggest souk in the world with nearly 4000 shops of antiques, jewelry and carpets. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Istanbul / Ankara / Cappadocia

Stop At: Cappadocia Turkey, 50180 Göreme/Nevşehir Merkez/Nevşehir, Turkey
After breakfast drive to the airport for our Ankara flight. Tour starts in the morning from the airport. Visit the Hittite Museum and Mausoleum of Atatürk. After lunch drive to Cappadocia. Dinner & overnight

Day 4: Cappadocia

Stop At: Kaymakli Underground City, Derinkuyu Turkey
Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymaklı & Citadel of Uçhisar. After lunch continue with the valley of "Göreme" & openair museum. The last sites will be Paşabağ valley and Avanos. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Cappadocia / Konya / Pamukkale

Stop At: Mevlana Muzesi, Konya Turkey
Early departure for Konya. On the way visit the 13 th century Seljukian caravanserai "Sultanhan". The next stop will be Konya which is famous with Mevlana Museum and the Theological Scholl of Whirling Dervishes.Lunch enroute, drive to Pamukkale.

Day 6: Pamukkale / Kusadasi / Izmir

Stop At: Ephesus Museum, Selcuk Turkey
Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and calcium cliffs. Drive to Meryemana and visit House of Virgin Mary. After lunch Continue to Ephesus, the Romen Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the magnificient library, Agora and fantastic greco-roman theatre.Drive to your Izmir hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Pass By: Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, Dokuz Eylül, 35410 Gaziemir/İzmir, Turkey
After breakfast, transfer to Izmir Airport for a short flight to Istanbul and catch our departure flight to Italy.
