About this activity
After pickup at your hotel, the trip really gets down to business when guests meet at our South Office 30 minutes prior to departure time. We'll then shuttle you to the boat launch where you'll be briefed on necessary safety and paddling instructions. From here you'll embark on an unforgettable adventure as your guide navigates the numerous rapids, discusses the history of the valley and points out wildlife.
There are multiple departures every day, and while this is a small-group tour you will be responsible for paddling the boat. You will get wet so appropriate clothing is recommended--quick-drying fabrics are suggested and appropriate footwear is required. So leave the flipflops in your luggage.

- Minimum age is 6 years
- We recommend you avoid cotton and denim. You may wear a bathing suit or clothing you don't mind getting wet
- Appropriate footwear is necessary. NO FLIP FLOPS
- Feel free to bring sunglasses and sunscreen
- You can leave a towel and clothing on the shuttle for after your trip
