Home to a famous myth that the Princess of Bhangarh Ratnavati, said to be the jewel of Rajasthan, who on her eighteenth birthday began to get offers of marriage from all over India. In the area lived a magician, named Singhia, who was in love with the princess but knew that he could never marry her.

He created a love potion and added it to an oil he knew the princess would use. However she was clever and poured the oil on the ground before touching it. The oil turned into a boulder and crushed Singhia. As he died, he cursed her palace and all who spent the night there. Within a year, the princess was killed in a battle at her palace. Legends also say ghosts wander the palace and grounds...
