About this activity
Also known as the 'Pink City', Jaipur has much to see and do. Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Ganesh Temple, Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar and many more historical sites are a must see in Jaipur. Apart from the famous monuments, one must taste the unique local cuisine. The best way to learn about the culture in Jaipur and also enjoy the cuisine would be with a local.

Join home-chef Neha at her home in Tripolia Bazar, Modikhana, Jaipur, she will teach you to cook a few easy dishes following which you can enjoy a scrumptious meal with her. Feel free to ask her any questions regarding her cuisine and culture. You will get to cook and taste some delicacies like Vegetable Pakoras (fritters), Jaipuri Aloo Pyaaz ki Sabzi (a local favourite made with potatoes and onions), Panchratan Dal (Dal made with five different lentils i.e. split chickpea, split pigeon pea, red lentils, yellow lentils and split black grams) and also Laal Maas (translated to 'red meat') for the non-vegetarians. The entire experience can last for about 3-4 hours.

P.S.: This is not a professional cooking class but an opportunity to interact with a local family and learn the tips and tricks of Indian cooking.
