Klein Curaao lies 15 miles off the southeast point of Curaao and is just a two-hour boat trip from Spanish Water. The Mermaid, a sturdy sea-going vessel, awaits passengers at the Fishermen's Pier every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday mornings at 6:45am. Four times a week, the Mermaid takes up to 60 people out to the island of Klein Curaao for a perfect day by the sea. Once the Mermaid has anchored off shore, you'll want to take a swim in the crystal clear turquoise water. Take a stroll and visit the historical lighthouse or collect shells on the beach.
