While there is evidence that the hill was inhabited as far back as the fourth millennium BC, it was Pericles (c. 495 – 429 BC) in the fifth century BC who coordinated the construction of the site’s most important buildings including the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Erechtheion and the Nike Temple. A very important place for the antiquity and today.

We will visit Mars Hill (Areopagus), where Paul the apostle, spread out the word to the Christian God that was the new religion at that time. We will continue by visiting the Ancient Agora of Athens, which was one of the St Paul’s meeting point. St Paul spent a great part of his stay in Athens to spread the Athenians into Christianity

Stop At: Flisvos Marina, Paleo Faliro 17561 Greece

Last we will drive you to the port of Faliro, where St Paul disembarked when coming in to Athens from Veria and after that we will drive you back.
