Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon Sailing Trip

Head to the Athens Alimos Marina at 10am to meet your small group and local guide, and board your ship to set sail around 10:30am. Cruise past the Voula and Vouliagmeni neighborhoods of Athens, a beautiful section of coast lined with trendy beach resorts and sandy shores.

Around noon, enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear water along the coast, then upon arrival to the final destination take our dinghy to the shores of Cape Sounion to visit the famous Temple of Poseidon. Explore at your own pace this extremely well preserved ancient wonder and the surrounding area, learning about its history and mythology. After your visit (which lasts around 1.5 hrs), we will take you back to the boat for a delicious fresh lunch, accompanied by light drinks.

After lunch, we set sail back to Athens. Relax and gaze at the fantastic views of the sunset and neighboring islands, with more drinks and snacks. After a full and fulfilling day sailing around the Athenian Riviera, arrive back to port around 10pm.
