About this activity

Begin the day with pickup from your centrally located Athens hotel and head to Piraeus Port by approximately 9am to board the RIB boat. Start by heading to the northernmost point of Aegina Island around 10am. Slow down to enjoy the beautiful and lush historic districts of the Island. Your expert captain will entertain you with their extensive knowledge and stories of Aigina's past throughout the journey. Take in the unique architecture, beautiful monuments and unbelievable nature.

Spend the day enjoying the feeling of the sun and wind on the RIB boat and also have the option to sunbathe and swim in the crystal clear Aegean waters. You will have the chance to explore traditional villages like Santa Marina, Vagia, Vlyhada and Portes on your own. Swim near Moni Island or feel the energy from the Dorian Temple of Aphaia and see the Monastery of Saint Nektarios and the old medieval town with its old churches.

In the middle of the tour before going to Perdika, you will have an opportunity to stop and enjoy a Mediterranean lunch (at your own expense). Food options include fresh fish, salads made from local produce, pies stuffed with greek goat cheese, fresh fruits and homemade sweets.

Continue to Perdika, a beautiful traditional fishing village built around the port. In the old times, its townfolks lived in small houses with connected yards and were occupied exclusively with fishing. Brave participants can climb down the special rocky stairs to take a swim in the clear waters. After your stop in Perdika, watch a glorious sunset over the Aegean Sea on your trip back to Athens. You will be transferred back to your hotel in Athens at the conclusion of the tour.
