About this activity
Itinerary

We meet at the predestined location after exchanging information about each other. We take a public bus as a means of transport. The bus go upto Budanilkantha, near Shivapuri National Park. There is a sleeping Bishnu, a Hindu deity. The statue sleeps atop of bed of serpents. After visiting this religious site, we start our trek to entry point of Shivapuri National Park.

Shivapuri National Park is the nearest national in Kathmandu. We get our entry pass and hiking continues. You enjoy your hiking experience while passing through dense woodland. The small cascading waterfall on the way and chirping of the birds make the journey wonderful. We trek for 2-3 hours to the Nagi Gumba, a Buddhist monastery where nun are taught. The Kathmandu valley can be seen from here stretching far and wide. The Ganesh Himal and Langtang ranges can be seen from the top of the hill. Enjoy your time strolling around the monastery. The monastery is exclusively run by nun. The small children are brought here at small age and taught about buddhism. They are devoted to god and serve the monastery life long.

After we explore the beautiful Nagi Gumba, we trek down retracing the same route and reach Kathmandu.
