DAY 1: Kathmandu Arrival

Airport pickup, hotel transfer and enjoy welcome dinner. 

Day 2: Scenic Mt. Everest Flight and Kathmandu Sightseeing

Early in the morning we leave our hotel for an hour-long mountain flight and acquire the closest possible aerial views of the world’s highest peak, Mt Everest, Kanchenjunga and other high Himalayas along with a clear glimpse of the Tibetan Plateau. In the afternoon, we visit 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 3: 30 min flight to Pokhara and 6 hours trek to Ulleri (2050 m)

We can catch amazing views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, the five peaks of Annapurna and others from the right side of our airplane. After taking a rest, we drive to Naya Pul and start the trek.

Day 4: Ulleri-Ghorepani (2750 m) 5 hrs

We stop at the higher part of the Ghorepani village that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains.

Day 5: Ghorepani-Poon Hill-Tadapani (2,700m) 7 hrs

To catch the sunrise over the Himalayas, we climb along the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3,210m), the most popular trekking destination of the Annapurna region and a great viewpoint to enjoy amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest mountains including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Day 6: Tadapani-Ghandruk (1,940m) 4 hrs

Along with enjoying the towering views of the Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains, we also acquaint ourselves with the simple but rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk.

Day 7: Ghandruk-Pokhara (823m) 4 hour trek and 1-hour drive

Today, we trek downhill from Ghandruk to Naya Pul then drive back to Pokhara.

Day 8: Pokhara Sightseeing

Early in the morning we leave for Sarangkot to catch amazing views of the sun as it rises in the mighty Himalayas along with the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges in the north and Pokhara city in the south. 

Day 9: Drive to Chitwan

At Chitwan, we take a jungle/nature walks depending into the national park enjoyong the company of a wide variety of flora and fauna and spend some time bird watching.

Day 10: Chitwan National Park

Early in the morning, we will be mounted on elephant backs for a jungle safari through dense grasslands to witness wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast, we visit the elephant stables and even enjoy bathing the elephants. 

Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu

Rest day at Kathmandu. Enjoy Farewell Dinner. 

Day 12: Final Departure

Escort to the airport approx.3 hours before your flight schedule.

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 7 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability

  • We will be accommodated in Yatri Suites & Spa or Hotel Moonlight or Similar in Kathmandu, Mt. Kailash Resort in Pokhara, Green Park Chitwan in Chitwan and local tea houses (lodges) during the trek. All accommodations are based on a twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional USD 770.
  • Breakfast will be served in Kathmandu and Pokhara and all meals will be served in Chitwan and during the trek. Breakfast will be taken in the same place we stay for the night. Similar arrangements can also be made for dinner. Lunch will be taken en route to the next destination(s). There will also be welcome and farewell dinners hosted by Himalayan Glacier.
  • Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for the Nepal Experience Tour. We may take this trip during winters and summers but the winters are a bit cold and summers, wet.
