About this activity

The check-in point for the canoe cruise is near the Cheepunkal Bridge at Kumarakom. We can either pick you up from your resort or you can drive to the check-in point yourself. Once you reach the spot, you will first be given safety jackets and basic safety instructions. Our guide will then take you to the canoe. With the assistance of our experienced and knowledgeable guide, you will enjoy the canoe ride for about 2 hours. The pleasant views of blooming lilies and colourful birds will be the highlight of your cruise. You will also be able to interact with locals on the shore and get an authentic experience of the village life. During the cruise, you will be served hot black coffee or tea along with some cookies. After the 2-hour cruise, you will be given a bicycle to explore the countryside for about an hour. Kerala-style breakfast is served either before or after the cycle ride, depending on your convenience.
