Indian martial arts and fighting system, Kalaripayattu originated in Kerala and practiced by warriors of the city. Kalaripayattu is also called as Kalari and was taught by the masters in total isolation. The origin of the art form can be traced as far back as 15,000 BCE.

The word Kalari meaning, battlefield or combat arena. Agastya, one of the ancient Saptarshis, a revered Vedic sage, and the earliest Siddhar, is considered to be the creator of Kalaripayattu. Practices and techniques of Kalaripayattu form an integral part of all Asian martial arts. This tour will allow you to experience the art form and adore the beauty of the activity.
