About this activity

Your tour starts with a pick up from your hotel. You will be driven towards the fishermen beach. En-route, visit the coir yarning and mat weaving units and continue your drive towards a farm house set by the backwater.

Reach the farm house where you will be served breakfast to keep you going throughout the cycling tour. Strike up a conversation with the family and learn a bit or two about the region with some insight into the heritage relics stored within the farm house. Then, start you bicycle tour and pedal for 2 km to reach a ferry point where you and your cycle will be transported to the other side of the river.

Pedal for another 4 km and reach the fish market to witness a lively action as fishermen carry out their daily routine work. Catch a glimpse of the daily hustle at the fishermen beach as the fishermen head to the shore with the daily catch. Then, cycle back for a stretch of 7 km to return back to the farm house.

After the completion of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel in an AC vehicle.
