Pick-up from Kochi Port around 9.00 AM and transfer to Alleppey (approx 1.45 hrs) to board your houseboat by 10.45 AM. Cruise slowly through the backwaters and village areas to marvel at the lush vegetation, paddy fields, coconut palms and more. There will be 3 staff members along with your guide to look after you and make sure your experience is as relaxed as you could wish for.

Enjoy a lunch of Keralan cuisine lunch with rice, vegetable dishes, fish, chicken and more as you gently cruise. The houseboat cruise finish approximately 01.30PM , where you will then be transferred to Fort Kochi to visit the Chinese nets ,Santa Cruz Basilica etc. When the tour ends, you will be dropped off at Kochi Port by 4.30- 5.00pm to return to your cruise.

November 21st Itinerary - A -Kerala Backwater Houseboat Cruise


Pick-up from Kochi Port around 1.00 Pm and transfer to Alleppey (approx 1.45 hrs) to board your houseboat by 2.45 PM. Cruise slowly through the backwaters and village areas to marvel at the lush vegetation, paddy fields, coconut palms and more.

Tea/Coffe/Kerala Local snacks served as you gently cruise. The houseboat cruise finish approximately 05.00 PM , where you will then be transferred to Kochi Port to reach by 6.45Pm

November 21st Itinerary -B -Essence of Kochi and Kerala Martial Art Show

We will pick you up Kochi Port Ships Berth at 1:00 PM and transfer to Mattancherry to visit the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese, The palace is famous for its stunning murals portraying scenes from Hindu tales, such as the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Next door is the Jewish Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in South India.Also go for a short stroll along the Jew Street/Jew Town shops .

Later transfer to Fort Kochi for a short walking tour visiting St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The church was constructed in 1503 by Portuguese friars and is now the burial place of Vasco da Gama, a Portuguese explorer who led the first ships sailed directly from Europe to India.

Next we will visit Santa Cruz Basilica, one of the largest and most impressive churches in India.Inside you will find walls decorated with frescoes, murals, and large paintings depicting scenes from the life of Jesus Christ. Stroll along the street of Fort Kochi to see Chinese fishing nets that were introduced by traders from the court of Kublai Khan in the 14th century. Kochi fishermen still use the fishing nets to earn their livelihoods.

From 4:00 PM watch live performance of Kerala martial art called Kalaripayattu in cultural center (approx. 1 hour show ). Kalaripayattu includes strikes, kicks, grappling, preset forms, weaponry and healing methods.

Take you back to Kochi Port to reach by 5:45 PM.
