Enamel Factory (orginaly Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik), during the ocupation was owned by Oskar Schindler. Firstly it produced metal items, and during the war have been changed in to ammuniton factory. Now a days inside the building there is located a museum with a permament exhibition. It shows a story of the Oskar schindler and more than 1,000 Jewsh which owe their lives to a single person. Museum is also a story of Kraków and its inhabitants, both Polish and Jewish, just before the war and during the ocupation. It provide to every visitor an interactive experience felt by all body. In 1993 Steven Spielberg based on the story of Oskar Schindler in the Oscar awarded movie
Schindler’s List.
