Meet your guide in the heart of Krakow Old Town, and then set out to discover some of Krakow’s standout sights. With a guide to give you the lowdown on each attraction’s history, explore the area around Europe’s biggest medieval market square — Rynek Główny or Main Market Square. See St Mary’s Basilica, Cloth Hall, Town Hall Tower, Jagiellonian University and the Franciscan Church of St Francis of Assisi, as well as some lesser-known sights around the Old Town’s cobbled streets.

As you explore the zigzag of streets, see the Old Synagogue, the Remuh Cemetery (aka the Old Jewish Cemetery) and Remuh Synagogue. Listen to your guide’s commentary and learn about the Jewish community’s contribution to the city through the ages.

After a quick refreshment break with coffee and a Polish dessert, travel by tram to the Krakow castle area of Wawel Hill. Hear the legend of the Wawel Dragon, and gain insight into the significant royals through Poland’s history and how they shaped Krakow into the city it is today.
