Floating Village & Countryside by Jeep (Half day morning tour)

Pick you up at your hotel.
Drive through the countryside seeing Khmer daily life, local markets, duck farms and waving children as we go to the boat landing. Transfer to a traditional Khmer engine boat that will taking you to the Floating Village. Khmer name is Me-Chrey. Here you will see the floating houses, schools, fish farm cages, island pagoda, crocodile farm and the beautiful daily life of the villagers, A stop at the floating shop for refreshments then return to the boat landing. We continue our tour in our trusty A2 jeep to the commercial fishing village called Chong Khneas with a stop at the famous Wat Chetday (Stupa Temple) dedicated to the “Secret Crocodile”, King of the Lake. We will alight from our jeep and walk through the village for a up close look at fishing and market activities. Along this road you will see the richness of the bio-diversity of the Tonle Sap wetlands (margins)
We will make our way back to Siem Reap passing by a large lotus farm, beautiful sunset and fishing cheese village, ending the tour at your hotel.
