One Day Angkor Wat Sunset with Lunch

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Siem Reap Province

You will be catching up with our local guide and driver at hotel or guesthouse lobby. After your breakfast, we will take you to the ticket office where everyone has to purchase Angkor ticket. Then, we continue to discover the world heritage monument of Angkor Wat.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Angkor Thom, Siem Reap, Siem Reap Province

One of the 7 finest monuments on the world. Next, you will be taken to visit Angkor Thom (ancient capital city of the great Khmer empire). Inside the city, you will first see Bayon Temple (state temple of the king). It is known by its towers with Budda’s faces Budhhistsatva Avalokesvara.

Stop At: Baphuon Temple, Siem Reap, Siem Reap Province

Afterward, we continue to see few small temples inside Angkor Thom such as Baphon, Terrace of Elephant, and leper king before lunch time. Around 12:00pm, after discovering the above temples you will take to have lunch at the local restaurant nearby Srah Srong.

Stop At: Ta Prohm, Siem Reap, Siem Reap Province

About 1:00pm or 2:00pm, we will be heading for Ta Prom temple. It’s known by its famous movie Tomb raider.

Stop At: Phnom Bakheng, Siem Reap, Siem Reap Province

Next, we continue to visit Bakheng for sunset. Bakheng Temple is built on top of artificial mountain where it is considered to be the best spot for viewing sunset. So we have to clime uphill by feet or to have an elephant ride. After getting dark, you will be picking up and transferring to hotel or guesthouse by 6:00pm or 6:30pm. Departure time: you may have an option. You can depart from hotel either by 8:30am or 9:00am.
