About this activity
We will pick you up from your hotel at 07:30 am and head out for a

special breakfast at a local restaurant. We recommend you try the

KuyTeavSach Ko (Beef Soup with noodle) and finish off with tea or coffee. Here you could have a

chat with the locals who are also having breakfast, as you will find they are really friendly. Before you start your cycling adventure we prepare and test your bike and make any adjustments needed before we get pedaling!

Your professional tour guide will point out all the places of interest along the way from the first visit to

Phar Kroum market where will see the farmers and fishmongers’ bartering their crops and products. Then it’s back on your bike to continue pedaling through the village. You will hear the laughter of kids and their parents from their homes, shouting “Hello” or “Bye Bye” to you. Next we visit

Wat Chork, a Buddhist monastery located in the centre of the village surrounded by shining shrines and out-buildings,

we encourage you to make conversation with the monks as they do love to practice their English; then it’s time to get back on your bike.

Our next destination is

West Baray, a rectangular man-made lake measuring 7.8 by 2.1 Km. West Baray is the largest reservoir in the Angkor area. Tall earthen dikes contain the water. In the centre of the Baray is West Mebon, a Hindu temple built on an artificial island. Its cool, still waters are a popular place for swimming and boat rides for local residents and tourists. It has occasionally served as a landing site for seaplanes.

We stop for

lunch and relax here in a

hammock or have a swim. In the afternoon we cycle through the village flanked by beautiful scenery and enjoy

a blessing ceremony by the monks before heading back to town.
