Stop At: Beng Mealea, 40 km east of Angkor Wat Cambodia

In the morning, visit jungle-clad Beng Mealea temple which, is built on a similar scale and floor plan to Angkor Wat. Utterly swallowed by jungle, and with minimal restoration work, it is easy to imagine what it must have been like for early explorers discovering these temples for the first time. Move on to stunning village on stilts Kompong Phluk. Then take the opportunity to get a glimpse of the traditional way of life in Cambodia, learn about Cambodia culture and enjoy the accompany of friendly local villagers. Visit the picturesque rice fields and surroundings. The traditional ox cart has been an important feature in Cambodian culture for hundreds of years. By using these carts for our tours we also aim to stop them from disappearing and retain them in our culture.
