Stop At: Dayang Bunting Island, Langkawi Malaysia

The next stop of the day is Tasik Dayang Bunting, a name that means “Pregnant Maiden Lake"; legend has it that the lake has the power to help women bear children. With roughly 40 minutes at the lake, this is the perfect time for a cooling swim in the fresh water.

Stop At: Langkawi Island Hopping, No.8 Kompleks EB Adina Pekan Baru Baron, Mukim Kuah, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia

From the lake, continue to an island that’s habitat for several birds of prey, including the white-bellied sea eagle and the Brahminy kite.

Stop At: Beras Basah Island, Langkawi Malaysia

Then head to Pulau Beras Basah for some time on the island’s white sand beach. Swim in the ocean, enjoy a barbecue picnic, and sunbathe with views of thickly-forested mountain scenery. If desired, you’ll have time to go snorkeling, take a banana boat ride, or try parasailing (extra activities own expense). This 5-hour boat tour concludes with drop-off at the original departure point.
