There are several mangrove tours in Langkawi. One of the most popular is the Kilim Mangrove Forest Reserve. Take a boat to a fish farm where you can see and even touch the few types of fish kept in seawater enclosure. From there proceed on an interesting kayaking experience through the mangrove forests, pedaling along small rivers where boats cannot access. Your may spot the various species of land crabs, squirrels, monitor lizards and monkeys. After completing the kayaking course, proceed by small boat to the Bat Cave, an ancient dark cave filled with hundreds of bats. Return to Kilim Jetty by boat for return transfer to hotel.
