WOW is also a paraphrase on Wau, which in Bahasa Malaysia, the national language of Malaysia, is a euphemism for a kite synonymous with Malaysia. While the logo is an artistic interpretation of the Wau, the name conjures and encapsulates the effect and impression one gets on a visit to Kuala Lumpur.
